Zuujit FAQ

Q. What is Zuujit?

Zuujit is a FREE iPhone application that allows eBay sellers to list items in just minutes, entirely from an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with the help of a personal selling assistant. Built-in tools, such as Zuujit’s PriceFinder™ allow users to price their items competitively based on historical sales data. Zuujit is your very own, easy-to-use Mobile Money Maker™. It takes the work out of selling on eBay, and makes it fun.

Q. How does it work?

Listing items from your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad is a snap! Simply take a few pictures, type in what your item is, and one of Zuujit's selling assistants will guide you through the automated process. Zuujit will recommend a price (with the PriceFinder™), assist selecting a category, write a description, and simplify the shipping process!

Q. How much does Zuujit cost to use?

Q. How do I set up an eBay Seller’s account?

Go to the eBay seller sign-in page and log into your eBay account. If you see a page asking for payment information, simply provide the required information and when you’re done, launch Zuujit and start selling!

If you aren't asked for payment information, you’re already good to go.

Q. How does shipping work?

Once your item sells with Zuujit, eBay will notify you via email. At that point, you can:

  1. Log into your PayPal account, print the automatically generated shipping label for your item—assuming payment from the buyer has been received—and attach it to your package. Then, take it to your local post office, or schedule a USPS pick-up. If you would like free shipping supplies delivered to your home, simply go to ebaysupplies.usps.com.
  2. If you prefer to not use the PayPal-generated shipping label, you can go to your local post office and ask for the appropriately sized priority shipping package for your sold item. You will be given the package for free, and you simply pay for the cost of shipping.

Note: USPS offers a wide variety of Priority boxes. Some are flat-rate boxes and some are regular (meaning you pay by weight). Make sure you get the right one when you ship your item.

Q. What if a buyer disputes my item after receiving it?

For hassle-free transactions, we highly recommend that you:

  1. Always use a shipping service with tracking information and proof of delivery.
  2. Make sure you only ship to a verified or confirmed buyer's address.
  3. Take pictures and have a certificate of authentication (from a professional appraiser) when selling unique items of high value.
  4. Insure expensive items when shipping.

If a buyer does have a dispute, you will be notified by PayPal. Taking the precautions mentioned above will help PayPal resolve the dispute. For more information on safe selling tips, go to PayPal's Tips For eBay Sellers.

Q. What are the default settings that Zuujit uses to create a listing?

Here they are:

  1. The return policy on each listing is being set to “Returns Not Allowed.”
  2. All listings are set as either 5 or 7-day auctions, and if the user is able to list as a Buy It Now (which eBay only allows for sellers with a certain feedback score), that is automatically done as well.
  3. “Offers” are not accepted because all listings are auctions (this is an eBay limitation).
  4. Sales tax is currently not being charged.
  5. All shipping is done on a calculated basis (not flat rate), using USPS Priority or UPS Ground (if you have a UPS account set up through PayPal).
  6. Only eBay U.S. is currently supported.
  7. Shipping and handling time is set to 3 days (this is the amount of time a seller says it will take to ship an item once sold).
  8. Item quantity per listing is always set to “1”, since this is a limitation imposed by eBay when using Auctions (there are no Dutch auctions anymore).
  9. Listing enhancements are not supported (bold, highlight, border, etc.).
  10. All listings support a free “Gallery” image.
  11. The “Hit Counter” is always set to “Basic” style.
  12. PayPal is the only accepted payment method.

Yes, there are a few. Here they are:

  2. Scheduling is not currently supported.
  3. Some areas of eBay Motors are not yet supported. We support Parts & Accessories however.

Q. Does Zuujit support international shipping?

Not currently, although we expect to offer it in future revisions.

If you would like to ship internationally, you may do so, but you will most likely need to pay more for shipping than can be calculated by our automated system.
